many mature trees and thick rough make staying in the fairway a must. Greens are bumpy and play is usually slow.

Long, narrow fairways demand control off the tee or you'll be wondering "what would Tiger do?" out of the trees. Greens are good-sized and usually well-groomed. The minus is the sand traps are more dirt than sand or are very shallow before hitting hardpan. It's a fun course with a variety of fairways. This course typically has fewer players out than its (nicer) sister course (Creekside), but doesn't nickel and dime you like Creekside does. Green fee rates ($29 W/CART) are fair, but the course occasionally offers specials (Tuesdays $20 w/cart after 11 a.m....but they don't have a plethora of carts either). Nice pro shop, driving range.
